What We Do
The Gratiot county Substance & Suicide Prevention Program uses the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) Strategic Prevention Framework as the basis for our activities in the community. GCSSPP aims to educate and support Gratiot County by providing the most relevant data and trends related to substance misuse and suicide in our community. Tracking local substance misuse and suicide trends along with providing prevention education services to our community helps GCSSPP to focus on our goals of preventing the use and misuse of substances, the development of substance use disorders, and the prevention of suicide.
