How to Get Involved - Campaign Support
Several groups and individuals throughout the county have provided their support for the Parents Who Host, Lose the Most campaign. As a campaign supporter you can become involved in one or more of the following:
- Provide general support for the campaign.
- Help raise awareness of the campaign. Distribute information or materials.
- Recruit / inform other individuals or groups about the campaign.
- Assist the coalition in gathering data by conducting surveys for the campaign.
- Support the campaign media efforts through radio, T V, newspaper, or online / other media. Click here for a copy of all of our Campaign Posters.
- Advocate for alcohol and drug free alternatives for youth. Assist the coalition in developing drug free options for youth.
- Provide financial assistance to the campaign.
- Sign Parents Who Host pledge form.

Parent Pledges
Parent Pledges are central to the Parents Who Host, Lose the Most Campaign. In signing Parent Pledge Card a parent commits to encourage youth to be substance free by:
- Hosting alcohol-free, tobbaco-free and other drug-free parties for them.
- Not allowing their child(ren) or their friends to possess or consume alcohol, tobacco, or other drugs on their property.
- Discouraging their child(ren) from attending parties in which underage youth are using alcohol, tobacco, or other drugs.

Student Pledges
The education of students on the risks of underage drinking is also an important part of our effort. In signing a Student Pledge Card, the youth pledges to be substance free by:
- Committing to stay free of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs.
- Choosing to avoid situations whenever possible where friends or other peers possess or consume alcohol, tobacco, or other drugs.
- Discouraging friends from attending parties in which underage youth are using alcohol, tobacco, or other drugs.
