Adolescence is all about Choices
Parents today must be “tuned in” to guard against the increasing challenges which adolescents face. Problems developed at this critical age can impact your child’s future opportunities.
Poor choices can lead to:
· Low motivation and grades at school
· Absence / Truancy from school
· Fighting and Suspensions

How does Choices Work?
An individual referred to the Choices Program is approved upon completion of an pre-screen assessment and intake session with staff. A parent or caregiver will be asked to accompany the youth to the intake session. Once the intake process is complete, the participant is enrolled in the next available Choices Program group session. Each group meets for 2-hour sessions for five weeks. The parent will attend the parent sessions at the same time as the youth are attending their sessions. If the Choices Program is not deemed to be a good fit for a child or family, other appropriate referrals may be made.
